Decorated with colors and reminders of the hypnotic pull of the sea. The cottage has a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen if you like dining in. If you are out and about sightseeing, there are many fine restaurants at the waterfront and in Uptown. This is a place to unwind from a hectic lifestyle. Sea Dreams Cottage is in the Uptown district of Port Townsend. This nationally recognized Victorian seaport is located in the northeast corner of the Olympic Peninsula, in the "rain shadow" of the Olympic Mountains (18 inches per year average). In Uptown, Victorian houses (replete with gingerbread and painted in historic colors) are the norm. Walking about Uptown, you catch glimpses of the blue sea, as well as the Olympic and Cascade Mountains that surround the Quimper Peninsula. Two blocks away from the cottage is the historic clock tower of Jefferson County Courthouse. To the northeast are Point Hudson Marina and the beach that leads to Chetzemoka Park. To the southwest are the Boat Haven and Olympic Trail along the waterfront.
